We have a had such a positive experience getting our mini Goldendoodle from Sunnydoodle. Jaimi has been amazing in all communications, kept us informed along the way, helped coordinate cross-country transport which went perfectly smoothly (in peak holiday covid times), answered all our many, many, MANY questions (and continues to answer any questions we have!). We were very particular in the type of temperament we hoped for in a puppy, and Jaimi was great. You can see from her pictures that these puppies get a lot of love, care, attention, and the benefits of existing in family life (with sounds and kids and noises and stimulation and other pets), which shapes these puppies and prepares them for life beyond. Our puppy came crate-trained from day 1, and could sit on command from day 2 — all thanks to Jaimi, and her family! Jaimi goes above and beyond on many things, small and big. She also sends along a package of so many helpful things -- including a one-pager with the puppy's current schedule, which we lived by. She's continued to be an amazing resource, and is warm, friendly, fun and lovely. We couldn’t recommend more!

Sunnydoodle Utah was great to work with! I felt they really cared about their puppies and truly wanted to find them the best homes. They were responsive throughout the process and were warm and professional. Our puppy already knew how to "sit" and was 90% crate trained by the time we got him at 8 weeks, which made the transition that much easier.

Jaimi and family really set us up for success with our new puppy!! From the beginning, Jaimi was great with communication, providing updates as often as necessary. She posted stories and photos to her instagram regularly so we were able to get a sense of personalities from the entire litter and see the pups grow from birth to 2 months. When we got Hugo (our new puppy), he was already well associated with the crate and has been sleeping throughout the entire night in there! He was pretty much already house broken and automatically went to potty where he was supposed to. He is so a very confident and curious dog and I can only attribute it to what a great breeder Jaimi and family is.

I would absolutely recommend Sunnydoodle Utah (SDU) to anyone looking to add a furry member to their family. This has been an experience better then what I ever expected. I had done research on breeders for the past 2-3 years and had not found any that I truly trusted with such a great responsibility.

Trusted / ethical breeder SDU is good dog approved. Good dog looks for careful screening from breeders. Breeders must be committed, With good intentions, this includes prioritizing the well being and of the pups. In short the breeder must make it clear that they want to prepare healthy and ready pups for when they are set to go home at 8 weeks +.

Communication

Before applying to the program and proceeding, I contacted the owner, Jaimi. She answered any and all my questions promptly, I had so many that she even offered to FaceTime/ phone call to better assist me.

SDU is on social media including FB and IG. Updates on the mommas, and pups are made quite frequently! In my case it was rare if I went a day without a pup date especially once they were born.

 

Crate training/ Obedience

SDU started crate training and working on patience with the pups weeks before the pick up date. This was very evident on gotchu day. We took our pup on an 8 hour drive back home from Utah, during this time she was so calm and patient sleeping most of the way. And NO accidents, I was prepared for at least one. Nope. As soon as we set her on the ground outside she went.

 

Preparedness:

This was an unexpected perk. Jaimi sent us home WELL off. With a generous new bag of kibble they were already on, toys, large bottle of current shampoo, treats, blanket and our favorite stuffed animal with a heat pad and heartbeat to help with this transition. On top of this she had a folder with important paperwork— vaccine history, microchip set up, pet insurance options, AKC registration documents, current puppy schedule, feeding and crate suggestions, list of things to be cautious of.

Loveee Jaimi from Sunnydoodle! She is so sweet and replies quickly to any questions or concerns. We got our first goldendoodle from her and he is an absolute doll . She takes really good care of her puppies and it shows. He is super smart and well-tempered. Jaimi provided such an amazing experience. We would definitely purchase another doodle from her.

Absolutely adore our golden doodle, now almost 9 months old, and love the family/breeder we got her from. She is a very mellow pup with a heart of gold. She is very compassionate and gentle. I believe this pup is so awesome because the breeder picked the best mama ever in Sunny and gave these puppies lots of love along with the appropriate medical and temperament testing to ensure these puppies are nothing but the best. They got a lot of one on one love from the family, including kids, group playtimes with lots of toys and new experiences as they grew to ensure they were properly socialized and ready for their new home. I would get a pup from them again in a heartbeat!

We are about a month in from purchasing our handsome Luke from here, and are quite pleased! It’s very obvious this breeder deeply cares about her puppies. She asked quite a few questions prior to us meeting to feel comfortable with selling a puppy to us. She had lots of paperwork and information on Luke’s testing and pedigree background. I was able to clearly see where the puppies were kept both inside and outside the house. A substantial amount of thought was clearly put into making each space spacious and safe. Our Luke took pretty well to kennel training and is already making great strides with being house broken. He walks well on a leash already even though he is only five months old. His temperament is amazing. We have five young girls, ranging in age from 10-2yrs old, and Luke is great with them. If a goldendoodle is what you are in the market for, I would suggest considering what is offered here.

Our sweet Clover (Ruby) came from Sunny’s first litter. She’s just over 3 months but she’s absolutely delightful! She’s incredibly smart and picking up new things every day. We wanted to be sure we weren’t buying from a “Puppymill” and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. The puppies came from a very loving, well socialized family atmosphere, we couldn’t be more happy!

We are incredibly satisfied and happy with our newest addition from Sunnydoodle Utah. From beginning to end, the process was seamless. Jaimi is a responsible breeder who truly cares about the well-being of the puppies. The puppy application through gooddog asks a series of questions that ensures the puppy is well suited for the inquiring family. Jaimi is active throughout different social media platforms—including Instagram and Facebook—where she constantly post puppy updates. This was very useful as she was able to answer many of our questions regarding the puppy and provide tips during Instagram lives. On the date of pickup, Jaimi was very flexible and accommodated us to get the puppy sooner than we had planned. We brought puppy travel needs, but to our surprise she had a bag full of essential items for the drive back home (7 hours!) The bag included wipes, potty pads, treats, portable feeding bowl, blanket with litter scent (reduces separation anxiety), snuggle puppy heated toy with heart beat, and an entire kibble bag that the pup was on. This made our trip even easier than we expected. She also prepared a packet with all the necessary documents—copy of pedigree, vaccinations, microchip paperwork, and kennel training schedule. Our two weeks with Moose has been incredible and following the schedule she had the puppy on has made the transition so easy. The pup will nap, eat, and potty at the scheduled times and sleep throughout the entire night. I highly recommend Sunnydoodle Utah. Thank you for everything!

I truly cannot say enough great things about Jaimi and Sunnydoodle! The entire process was organized and smooth! She was so thorough during our first video conversation, my husband and I walked away so excited after that! She does such a great job with Instagram videos/photos and keeping us updated. We are so glad we chose Sunnydoodle as our breeder. Those who have met Kona, formerly known as Dancer, comment on how sweet, obedient, and adorable he is. It is all thanks to the training and schedule that Sunnydoodle started him on when he was with them. We have continued it at home, and Kona has not damaged any shoes, furniture or clothing. When Kona was having stomach problems after a vaccination, Sunnydoodle gave suggestions on how to care for Kona; and it helped resolve his stomach issues. We loved the program that Jaimi had with the puppies, especially that they were coming home crate trained. We joined the waiting list and crossed our fingers. We thankfully had the opportunity to have Dancer, now Kona (@adoodleandhisdoods), a Mini Goldendoodle. His mother is Bora, and his father is Rocket. Due to the rising cost of plane tickets, we opted to utilize the flight nanny and picked up our puppy from the airport. He transitioned so smoothly, and the schedule is AMAZING! He came home crate trained, with lots of goodies, and vaccinations started. Jaimi has been wonderful from the very beginning. When it came closer to having Kona come home, she was doing Instagram live almost every night and answered all of our questions. We recommend Sunnydoodle to everyone who asks us about Kona.

After months and months of searching for a responsible and ethical breeder, (one search even lead us to the Humane Society of the US “Horrible Hundred List”) we were recommended to connect with Jaimi at Sunnydoodle Utah by a family friend. They got their goldendoodle from her a few years ago and have maintained a relationship with her since. After reaching out to Jaimi, it was clear this was the right fit for our family. We came home with Indiana a few weeks ago and there is no doubt than Jaimi and her family dedicate a ton of time and commitment to preparing their pups for a furever home. Indiana came to us at 11 weeks old, fully crate trained, leash trained and nearly potty trained. Of course there has been the typical puppy messes to clean up, but not nearly as many as we were expecting with a new puppy. He’ll go outside on his own and holds his bladder through the night! Pure bliss! Indiana is so calm and cuddly, people are surprised he is only a few months old. He’s great with the kids and has fit into our family perfectly. We’ve kept in touch with Jaimi and she’s fully invested in ensuring her pups are well loved and provided for, long after leave her home. It was a great experience working with Jaimi at Sunnydoodle Utah. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible and loving breeder.
